We love to transform your wedding images to something beautiful and romantic using cinematic toning, also known as colour grading. This makes our style unique in the wedding photography profession. Cinematographers use it all the time when working on post production in the movies. If you don't know what it is, google "movie trailers for My Best Friend's wedding, The Wedding Planner or Bridesmaids".  It is not used widely in professional photography as it requires intermediate to advance skills in post production (Lightroom and Photoshop).

This form of subtle colour grading defines our style and provides you with a cinematic storyboard to your wedding day. The mood, feel and the romance is truly beautiful.

FAQ

1. How do I reserve the date?

To reserve the date, please  email us or call us on 01621 860 698 to check availability. You can also use the "Contact Us" form.

2. What is required to reserve the date?

A deposit of £350 is required to reserve the date, with the balance payable 10 days before the wedding day. We accept credit cards and Paypal.

3.  Do we meet up with the photographer and are consultations included in the collection prices?

Yes, we would encourage meeting up at least a month before the wedding day to run through the events and order of the day and also agree on the photo plan and manage your expectations.  In the pandemic period, we are likely to suggest a Skype or Zoom meeting.

All consultations are included, and we do not limit the amount of consultations to discuss your wedding day plans or the photography.

4.  Can we include a list of formal groups in the collection?

Yes, we often suggest 6 to 8 groups in the photo plan and that forms part of our contract.

5.  How long do you stay?

It depends on the package selected.

6.  Is editing / colour grading of our images included in the price of the collection?

All your pictures are edited for tonal balance.  Colour grading is included to reflect  a cinematic storyboard style. Often, we will use earth or autumnal tones and black and white. We will also take into account the colour scheme of your wedding to ensure the images flow through in the storyboard. Colour grading is kept in the light to medium range so that the image looks perfectly natural and harmonises with your wedding colour scheme.

7.  How long do you retain the digital images?

Once the high resolution files are given to you, we do not retain them for more than 6 months thereafter.  You are advised to back-up the digital files to an external drive and even consider cloud storage.

8.  How far do you travel?

Our target wedding clients and venues are mainly based in Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and London.  However, if you would like us to attend a wedding venue more than 60 miles from Essex or outside of the UK, we are happy to discuss your requirements. We have covered weddings as far afield as Tuscany.

9. Is the bridal album included?

It often is and available on most of our collections. You get to approve the style, colour and layout of the images before they go into album production.

10. Service and attention to detail?

We pride on our service and attention to detail, before, during and after your wedding.  Our mission is simple - to provide you with the best possible documentary record of your wedding day, and to work with you on the final storyboard of your album. All along the process, you can text, call or discuss any ideas with us. It is your album, and we want to exceed your expectations with the final product and service.
